why the separation between Organic and regular food in the West ??
question is
why the west is encouraging the sepparation between “organic” and “real” food ![]()
why why why ?
food is supposed to stay normal, as it is!!!
why is there organic and other type ?
and if organic is the actual real food, and it’s more expensive now and it’s still wanted…..why don’t the other fake food suppliers turn back to Organic Food as in taking seeds from organic growers and employ traditional techniques
for example in Romania we used to have only local products for 50 years (cause it was communism and no real trade with the outside)…but after the fell of communism, fake foods with no taste started to invade us (with the help of the supermarkets) and local Organic Producers are “dying”…cause they get no support from the government who doesn’t care….after all the freedom we fought for is now transformed in money….:(((
we don’t care how expensive it gets, it’s not the point, we live
for our health not for more money in the bank
The point is profit.
In the U.S. food is not produced by farmers. It is produced by corporations.
The agribusiness industry is not interested in health, or quality- they are interested in increasing yields and shelf life.
As such, they use enormous amounts of pesticides, genetic modification to make new strains which are resistant to chemical herbicides like “Round-Up,” (Thanks Monsanto!) and all crops are subjected to radiation, which halts additional growth, and allows the produce to be shipped and stored for longer periods.
Most people will continue to buy conventionally grown produce for the simple reason that it is much cheaper.
