how long does it take marijuana to sprout without germinating first?
I’ve put a couple of seed’s in pure organic peat, mixed with vermiculite and a little bit of sand. I’ve got some germinating in damp paper towls in a container. I also live in South Africa an planted some outside without germinating.. so how long would that take?
Well, it typically will take at the very least a week, maybe two. I prefer the peat moss method for any seedlings. You can also encourage the sprouting by covering the pot up with a plastic bag or cup, with a few holes cut for ventilation, (this is kind of like a greenhouse) and that seems to always aid my seeds to sprout well, take the plastic off when the seedling has at least 2-4 baby leaves. I would then take the peat moss mixture (after about three or so weeks) and upgrade the entire mixture with the baby plant into a slightly larger one with a good grade of soil.
I couldn’t even tell you how long germination would take outside with marijuana (never have grown it) especially in Africa, but high hopes for you!
