Does anyone else have problems with the peas will not grow this year?

Our garden is thriving, but it was the peas planted on three occasions and are not appropriate. I have them in a different place than last year, where corn and beans will before.We tried two different brands of seed too. We live in the thumb of Michigan, and the use of a large lot, fertile soil, and garden organic methods. Peas never had a hard time growing before, are usually so large that we have for the fences, lattice cable is 5 feet tall. Suggestions? It has been a moderate / early summer with a temperature average of 78 years, and a good steady rain, but not enough to saturate. Everything else is fine.

It's a shame "throw peas" There is no better either!
