Local and Organic Food Business Startup?
I am considering opening a produce and meat store, similar to a country market and was wondering about the viability of such a venture. The store would sell local and organic products when available as well as free range chickens, eggs, beef, etc. Can anyone share any similar experiences with such a venture and if it is profitable.
I am in to the organic & all natural ways of life.
Because this is so, I know that I already buy from those type of markets, when I can. There are not that many places yet, however I go to them before other markets. I have to still read the labels on things though, due to certain additives that I will still not intake & digest if I can prevent it.
CAUTION: just cause they say it is organic, does not always mean it is.
Sprays & over spray can still be in the foods.
BUT YES! Great Idea! Good luck!!!
