How can I join a Famer’s Market?

I want to join a small farmer’s market but don’t know what is required or how to do that. Currently there are only 3 to 5 vendors at a time selling a couple vegetables, maybe some eggs, one selling jam, and the others selling old antiques and flip flops.I’d like to sell baked goods using local foods and organic ingredients. I’d also like to sell needle felted animals and embroidered plushies. Here’s the catch: I’m 17. Is this going to be a problem and will I need any permits or a commercial kitchen to bake the treats in? I’m doing this so I can earn enough to go to college in Sustainable Ag and 10% of my profits would go towards charities or organizations that benefit the sustainable farm movement.
