What stores are good brands of vegan food? I need help!?
I recently went vegetarian and I have no idea what brands to buy food. I went shopping at Meijer, but most Organic Food is vegetarian and had milk in it. "Skinny Bitch" has given a list of ingredients to see, but I do not have time to search for "polysorbates, lipase," dexpanthenol and dozens of other animal things on the basis of the ingredients of each item I intend to buy. I'm starving, and I really want to do this right. Please help me?
The best resource for starting a vegan is from this list: http://www.peta.org/accidentallyVegan/ It has tons of products that are vegan you can get at any regular supermarket. I think this is vegan with new facilities on the same instead of being overwhelmed by the lists ingredients. Also start experimenting with cooking and baking.
