Quick child friendly recipes for Health?
I have a daughter 6 years old, who does not eat chicken (yes, I know), cheese, something green except for green beans, lettuce, cucumbers (they are considered a green vegetable?) and peas. I started a doctoral program and I found it to fish sticks, hot dogs, tater children, so I feel better serve a salad or green beans. Are there companies that sell these types of foods that are healthy, even organic. I have no time to cook the way they usually work and progress. I really need food that just popped in the oven and serve. But the food they serve is filled with sodium preservatives and other things that I have no idea what they need to be for the chicken nuggets. Do not judge, I do not care about natural food, but do not want to Boca nuggets, etc. I spent a lot time to prepare food, but it would be healthy.
Yikes! It appears that you have not much time on their hands. The recipe can be done without the chicken. It freezes well, so you can do on the weekend and during the week. You can also use turkey or beef, if you eat them! Good luck! Chicken and Vegetables 2 cups scallops diced cooked chicken 1 package (10 ounces) frozen corn, thawed 1 package (10 ounces) frozen peas, thawed 2 tablespoons soup. butter or margarine 2 soup. chopped onions (although I always got a whole onion) 2 tablespoons soup. flour 1 / 2 c. tea. salt 1 / 4 c. tea. freshly ground pepper 1 cup chicken broth 1 / 2 cup milk 2 eggs, beaten 1 / 4 cup seasoned bread crumbs 1 / 4 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1. Preheat oven to 350. Mix chicken, corn and peas in a greased pan 13x9x2 inches. 2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add onion and cook until tender, about. 3 minutes (more than the whole onion). Add flour, salt and pepper. Cook 1-2 minutes without browning. Gradually add milk broth y. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly until thickened and smooth. 3. Remove from heat and add the eggs. Pour sauce over chicken mixture. 4. Combine bread crumbs and cheese in a small bowl and sprinkle over the casserole. Cover with foil. From Bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes until browned on top.
