Is hemp protein safe?

I have celiac disease (gluten intolerance) and am wanting to get back in shape and gain about 5-10 lbs. I lost over 20 lbs and got pretty unhealthy. I’m starting to exercise and lift some weights. I bought organic hemp protein from a health food store. It is gluten free so I know I’m safe there, but is hemp protein ok for the body? Are there any side effects? Is it easily digestable? Any answers would help!

Not only is it safe, but it’s great for you. It’s very easily digestible. And there are no side effects. It also contains The perfect balance of EFA’s. My neighbors children are gluten intolerant, She uses the hemp protein/flour as a flour substitute. I doesn’t rise like wheat flour, so use it as a wheat flour substitute only where a rising dough isn’t necessary.
