job for 12 y/o. los angeles ca?
im a 12 y/o guy looking for a job in los angeles california. i dont want to work “under the table”!!! i need the money for a school trip to DC :] any suggestions??
ps i live near the world famous farmers market and theres a whole foods and 2 ralphs really close by :]

You’re too young for a regular job (non-entertainment industry).
Here is the info you need, basically you need to be 14 yrs old and get a permit from your school, even for the summer.

Perhaps you can do chores for neighbors, help with their kids (my son has been playing video games with a neighbor kid while his mom was home trying to get stuff done, now he tutors him), walk their pets, etc. Unfortunately, there aren’t many jobs available for teens this summer because out-of-work are taking many of the jobs teens would normally get.
