Have you been to Farmer's Market, one in the Bay Area of San Francisco?

Buy, local fresh oysters and other shellfish. I am looking a good potential for some rural markets throughout the greater San Francisco area. If you are at all, please let me know any of the following as you remember: Where? When? How big is the market? (Especially in comparison to others if they are several, or you may guess the number of blocks / suppliers) Is a busy market in terms of number of customers? Is there already a seller of oysters? If you like oysters and I'd like to see in your local market or if you think that oysters would be a success in general, let me know that too. Thanks in advance for any information you have. Although this is a big market was Small / cool / lame etc. Every bit of information helps, there are markets out there and I have nothing now, most of them.

Here are some of the sites to help you compare the Bay Area Farmers Markets: California http://www.cafarmersmarkets.com/ Market California certified farmers Farmers' Market Association http://www.cafarmersmkts.com/ Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture (San Francisco Ferry Plaza Farmers Market) http://www.cuesa.org/markets/ Features Hog Island oysters, which has a small restaurant in the Ferry Plaza, which is very popular.
