Where are fun hangout places for teen couples to go to in L.A. & Pasadena that’s inexpensive/ not too costly?

I am from Los Angeles and my guy is from Pasadena. We are only dating, and since we get three weeks of holiday vacation, we would like to go to places around Los Angeles and Pasadena. As it stands, we don’t wanna go to The Grove, Farmers’ Market, and Beverly Center again since we have gone there every time we were in Los Angeles. We are tired of it.

I always enjoyed the Griffith Observatory as a teen. They have a great view of downtown. Very romantic.
Have you been to the Norton Simon Museum is Pasadena? It’s right there in Old Town so you could grab lunch and then go check out the art.
My other teen hang out spot was 3rd street promenade. Lots of shops to wander through, and then you can head over to the boardwalk area and hit up the rollercoaster.
