Want to know where the best neighborhood for a single woman, 30s, to live in Seattle where there is not too much traffic, cool shops, restaurants, farmer’s market, dog park, etc Moving from Santa Monica, CA

The neighborhood for you depends upon what activities you like the best. From what you have said you may want to try downtown first. You should be able to find a reasonably priced apartment or house. There you will be able to walk to a lot of shops and tourist attractions. Try to get a short (six months) lease to start with so you can move to another neighborhood if you wish. Talking to a rental agent about what you will find easily available to you is a good plan. You should be able to obtain a lot of information about many neighborhoods this way. The Chamber of Commerce is another great resource. I hope you really enjoy yourself while living there.
