Collecting bouquet on morning of wedding?
Who waited until the morning of to collect flowers for your bouquet?
I am seriously thinking of skipping the huge florist bill and just heading up to the local farmer’s market/grocer the morning of my June wedding to collect whatever flowers I need for my bouquet and for my bridesmaid’s bouquets.
Has anyone else done this? Any tips? Did it work out well?
I just don’t really have my heart set on any particular flower so much that i would spend hundreds on them…
I was going to do the same thing. I went to look at what was available a couple days in advance. One thing I noticed is that most of the flowers still needed to open up. Like the roses for example. I would buy them a day or two ahead and let them open up. It will also take some of the stress off to have them sitting there ready. They will last several days.
