Farmer’s Market items to sell?
My aunt has promised her granddaughter that she could do a lemonade stand at the farmer’s market this weekend. Problem is that the market is not large and we need other items to sell to help bring in profits. We decided to make muffins.
We went and looked at what others are selling and noticed that the baked goods are not selling well. We will not have access to electricity and need to keep the product simple and cheap.
Any ideas?
The market is from 7 am til 10 am on Saturdays and we are in the Deep South….so it will be very hot here.
Yes, people do not tend to buy stranger’s baked goods. (I can’t blame them.) I would recommend bringing a gas or charcoal grill (no electricity required), and making Hot Dogs. Men will eat about 2 each and all the kids will want one. Hot dogs are cheap, buns are cheap, and just bring ketchup and mustard. *Make it a deal, hot dog and lemonade for $1.50 Good Luck
