Juice Plus?
Today my parents (and my kids) and I went to a local Farmers Market here in Colorado. There was a stand talking about a product called Juice Plus and all the benefits it offers to adults and children. I looked at their website ( http://www.juiceplus.com?+no39201 ) and read about their products there and from the pamphlets the gentleman gave us. It sounds like a good product, but I want to hear from people who have actually tried it and used it to see what you all think of it. Is it worth the investment? Does it really keep it’s promises?
I highly recommend Juice Plus. I work as an Occupational Therapist in long term care and in the school systems and I have become very passionate about the importance of whole food nutrition in the prevention of disease. The obesity in America is epidemic and it is because of several factors but primarily nutrition, or lack there of. I recommend you go back to the gentleman or email him and ask for more information…ask for Dr. William Sears CD, 9 Simple Steps to proper family nutrition or The Power Behind Juice Plus. There is negative info on the Internet, primarily by a man, Stephen Barrett , who works for a pharmaceutical company and bashes a lot of preventative type products. Juice Plus, however, is backed by the gold standard of medical research. Take a look at the web site again and look of over some of the company Juice Plus is keeping with its research (i.e.-Yale, Univ. of Mississippi, MD Anderson, Vanderbilt, funding coming from NIH-the US government, etc.) I have been able to get off my asthma and allergy meds. except 1 inhaler just in case, and it has done many other wonderful things big and small for my family and friends. Hope this helps.
